My outfit for last night's game. Comfortable and functional. I love these boots! There was a chance of rain and since my husband is one of the football coaches I always go on the field after the game. no place for heels girls!! Anyway we won, but it was a very close game and we hate playing the team we played last night we won 10-7. Roll on next week! On another note I am still figuring out how to use our new camera so be patient readers!

It is so hot here. I don't mind the heat, I hate the humidity. It's almost time for my hubby to return to school and he is complaining he has had no time off! WTF? I can't remember the last time I had a vacation. Oh I had a week off due to bronchitis does that count?...didn't think so.

The camera wasn't broken as I stated. For some reason I had a total brain fart and forgot how to use it....seriously. These photos are taken in the office. The lighting is much better don't you think? I am the first one here, so I don't feel such an idiot for taking photos of my outfits first thing in the morning! Sometimes it's good to be early!

Do you see how dark this photo is? I think there is something wrong with our camera, either that or I have forgotten how to use it since I haven't blogged in a gazillion years! I already have over 30 items in my watch list, well some of it is DH's because they have a lot of history memorabilia on the site and he wants all of it! (He teaches AP European History this fall).

An Apology

Hi guys!!
Please accept my apologies for my long absence! Drama, drama and more drama! My boss may have prostate cancer he had tests the week of June 14 and was given medication before his July 13 biopsy. Last Tuesday June 22 he was rushed to hospital in Nashville with chest pains. Last Friday he had quadruple bypass surgery and nearly didn't make it. However, he is now at home and although still weak is beginning to do better. we are trying to get a new business up and running and dealing with some other "issues". I am hopefully going to be back blogging for good. I have some cute new clothes to share with you!!! Ciao for now.

Today we had lunch at Chilis. I ordered Asian salad with dressing on the side. I did not get my dressing on the side. I got my salad drenched in dressing. See my face? Not happy :I. On the upside we went to see Clash of the Titans...pretty good movie and it stars Sam Worthington, which is worth the ticket price on it's own!

the last few weeks have been crazy. Hubby had to have shoulder surgery, then he had a blowout on the interstate. Work is extremely busy so to be honest readers I have not been in the mood to post by the time I arrived home. But...Spring is here! Trees are blossoming, sun is shining and the birds are chirping, and this makes me hippity, hoppity around (as well as I can in heels). Cute clothes and strappy sandals. Woot!

Today was my friend's St. Paddy's Day party. They throw one every year. Always a great time and this one was no exception! Her nephew was a barman and he is not a very good one...lol. I bought this bag from Hautelook. I wasn't so sure when I purchased it as I am not a big fan of Christian Audigier (makes me think of those horrible trashy, loud t-shirts no offense to anyone who owns one), but when it arrived I was thrilled! I particularly like the zipper roses. They add a little toughness to the bag. That's right, don't mess with me. I will zipper burn you to death with my roses....or something similar ha ha.

Crazy couple of weeks!

I haven't posted for a while. the last few weeks have been crazy! My sister kate went into labor and gave birth by emergency c section to a little boy named Felix. we very nearly lost both of them as the placenta came away when her water broke. Felix swallowed a lot of blood on the way out. If my sister had been at home neither her of the baby would have made it. Kate is now at home and Felix should be home in the next week or so. Both are doing well.

Chunkee Munkee went missing and we found him dead last week. We are both devastated by his loss (DH especially). We are having him cremated and his remains returned to us, which should be in the next few days.

We adopted a cat from the animal shelter. His name is Chunkee Chops, 18 months old and 16 lbs, we are working on his weight as we speak. he likes to nibble our hands when he wants attention.
