The weather is finally getting cooler, so I decided to wear this dress. I like it because it's cotton and it's easy to wear. it's actually purple, but the photo doesn't show the color very well.

I have no idea why it looks as though I have marks on my skirt in this pic. Today I had to leave early because we found out that our cat Chunkee Munkee had an abscess last night which burst. For those of you who have ever seen an abscess burst you will know how bad the smell is. He is fine now, and he is on antibiotics. He also has a lovely hole near his tail on the left side, although the vet assured me that it looks far worse than it is! That was my day!!

I finally got my hair cut and colored and I LOVE it! My husband was a little shocked, but he likes it. It is so much easier to handle!! I am now off to lunch with my husband and my new swish hair do!

Today was another hot and humid one. C'mon people, seriously, it's September. I love this blouse, its very light and airy. I took a close up of the dots, and hopefully you can make out the purple. Maybe time for some purple shoes?

Today was very grey so I decided to brighten it up by wearing yellow. By the time I left work this afternoon the grey had gone and the sky was a beautiful blue!

Am I glad it's the weekend! Our friends Chris and Jenni were supposed to be visiting this weekend, but Jenni has to have surgery on Monday, they think she has Crohns (sp?) disease. Her dad and grandad both have it. Poor thing, she's been miserable for months but has gotten worse since she moved in May. Hopefully they will be here next weekend. The high school my husband works at is playing tonight and I am going to cheer them on. the forecast calls for storms...maybe I should take an umbrella? We're doing really well so far this season and haven't lost a game yet! I will let everyone know who wins tonight!

Haircut

Next week I am getting my haircut and colored. I like numbers two and three, but really LOVE Victoria Beckham's new cut. If I had the guts to go that short and I knew without a doubt it would suit me I would get that pixie haircut in a heartbeat. That is all.

Today was kind of rainy, but also humid. I wore my lovely Dolce shoes to brighten up the day a little. I am glad it didn't rain too much though. I don't want to get my shoes wet!!

I was out of town last week on business, but now I am back. Does anyone else hate living out of a suitcase? UGH! I know this outfit is dull, I should have brightened it up! My hair is a mess, and although i am still growing it I am treating myself t a cut and color on September 20. This will be my birthday gift t myself as on Friday September 19 I turn 35!!
