The birthday party was not mine..lol. Coach Johnson turns 40 today...shhh. He works with my husband and his wife threw him a surprise party. Great food, lots of laughter and wonderful company. What more could a girl want?

Today is my birthday, my 36th to be precise. My husband bought me this gorgeous gold and platinum necklace, which I love! I had a wonderful, dinner and shopping. All in all a VERY happy brithday!

I lost Rachel Zoe because of the NFL

If you're a fan of Rachel Zoe, then you probably watch her show every Tuesday night. I was happily watching last night when my husband arrived home (he had a football game which is why he was late). Plonks himself down, grabs the remote and switches over to the game between Raiders and some other team right in the middle of my show!! So I put a hex on Raiders to lose, and they did...mwahmwahmwah!! Actually they lose all the time because they are rubbish. Hubby supports them though, I have no idea why. They get worse every year. That will teach you dear husband to turn off my fashion show!

I am wearing the same pants as I was on Saturday night, don't worry ladies they have been washed. This one one of the most comfortable outfits I have worn in a while. If I had worn my slipper socks (I am fashionable I know) I would have been right at home! I was late for work this morning as I had a dentist appointment, or so I thought. It's next Monday at 10am, not this Monday so I looked a bit of a plum this morning!

RIP Patrick Swayze

Patrick Swayze died today at the age of 57 after a valiant fight with cancer. Part of me really thought he would pull through and beat this awful disease. I was a little surprised when he passed away today, he looked a little better a few weeks ago, stronger. He must have gone downhill rapidly, a sad day for all Patrick Swayze fans. I remember wanting to be Baby in Dirty Dancing, I wanted to be Johnny Castle's girl, and grind and bump with him...never mind that I was only 14 or 15. You will be missed. Rest In Peace, Sir.

More than a little neglected!

I have been a bad girl. I have neglected my blog again! Things at work have been so crazy all I have wanted to do when I got home is put on my comfy schleppy clothes, and crawl under the covers, although hubby has been demanding dinner before I go to bed...jeez! Managed to go out to dinner last night with hubby after a day of supervising a jamboree at the high school. The young children are so funny when they play football. Their helmets are as big as they are and when they tackle each other they bump each other and stop. It's really funny to see! This is the end of my story. Sweet dreams chicas!

But it's only 10.30!

Here I am sitting at my desk waiting for my boss to come to the office so we can finish up a project (he lives 90 miles away), and I am thinking about lunch...at 10.30 in the morning. Why? you ask. Well this it what happens when your husband's freaking cat paws and coos at you until you get up and let him out at 5 am! So I figured I would have breakfast early, now I want my lunch. I can wait until 11.30 I can, I can, I can!!!

I went to the job interview I was talking about this morning, and I got the job. However the pay is over $1,000 a month less than I am making now. So, I will be staying for the mean time, and looking for a new job. To be honest I am BUMMED, but these things happen.
