I can't believe it is Monday again! Yesterday was lots of fun, and many things were bought, including the belt and necklace I am wearing! I spent around $150.00 and got among many things a Michael Kors trench for $50.00 from $180.00 and a top by evil marked down to $14.97 from $108.00! As we say in the UK I am quite chuffed with myself! I'm off to make dinner now. Ciao!!

Today was freezing. Temperatures are expected to drop into the low 20's tonight. I came home early with a migraine which was so bad I was dry heaving. Feeling a little better now, just drained and my stomach is really hurting...UGH. At least tomorrow is Friday!

Oh Christmas Tree

The fruits of my labor last night. I decided to put the Christmas tree up. Everything on the tree is from The Dollar Store. We have had the lights for 7 years and they still work!! There is nothing worse or more frustrating than having your lights not work and having to go through all of the bulbs to find the dead one! Anyway here's to a Wonderful Holiday Season!!!!

We have decided to hire some new people and today was the first day. It was extremely busy with emailed resumes and phone calls. We hired 4 today and will hopefully hire another 6 tomorrow. Tonight I went bowling with hubby, we bought each other early Christmas presents of bowling balls, bags and shoes. We really enjoy it and it's nice just to get out and do something that's ours!

We went Christmas shopping today. I have finished my shopping for my family overseas in the UK. I will mail it this week to ensure they get everything in time for Christmas. On a sad note my 3 1/2 year old niece Emily is extremely ill in the Leicester Royal infirmary. She's not eating or drinking and has a very high fever. I will keep everyone updated and let you know more when I know more.

I bought these fab shoes on EBAY. I paid $60 for them, which I am pleased about. I have also become a brunette. I know you can't see very well. I have no idea why the first image is so blurry. I received some bad news yesterday. my grandma in the UK has a stroke on Friday morning. Luckily it was only a minor stroke. She is in hospital and should be discharged on Monday. I will keep everyone updated on her progress.

This is yeserday's outfit. I spent most of last night sorting out my closet. I will post photos when I have finished it! I was too tired to post, so I thought I would do it tonight. I got these boots from Payless about three years ago. I love them because not only are they warm, but they have gripped soles! They are also very comfortable for work. It was cold yesterday, hence the scarf which I wore in the office as it got a little chilly!

1. I am adopted on my father's side of the family. I did not find out until I had to produce my birth certificate for my visa interview.

2. I suffer from emetophobia, fear of vomiting. Sends me into a blind panic.

3. I love horses. I have been riding them since I was four years old.

4. I do not like to fly, and will only do so when I absolutely have to. even then I have to take something to calm me down. However, I think airplanes are fascinating.

5. I HATE peanut butter and marmite, Unfortunately for me my husband loves the first one and likes to chase me around with it.

6. Myself and my sister were raised by my grandparents. My mother just left us on their doorstep one day. We didn't see her for 3 years, by that time she had another child.

7. I hate heavy breathers and noisy eaters. I just want to slap them stupid.

8. I love to organize things. My husband says I am like Monica from friends.

9. I don't like poodles. My grandma had one and it bit me in the mouth.

10. I once told my grandma and grandad I had pushed a button up my nose. They took me to Accident and Emergency department. After poking around with a HUGE hook, a lot of blood and me screaming in pain it was determined there was no button. I was 4.

So today is Friday, again. I wore my fab new boots today and I am so excited! They are so comfortable! Tomorrow I will be going to a fundraiser with my friend Sue. We are taking a couple of her curly horses with us. Hopefully I will have some pics to post! The fundraiser is for a lady who has been diagnosed with cervical cancer but has no insurance, and we all know how expensive medical treatment is in this country!

Today I got my flu shot. I got it last year and ended up getting the flu (a different strain). My doctor told me he also had the flu, apparently the shot was only 40% effective. However the CDC says they have it right this year. Let's hope they are right! Have you had yours yet?

Today was a really pretty day. I had to leave work early because my husband forgot many of thethings that he needed for the football game tonight. I met him at the chiropractor as he has been having some pain in his shoulders and back. I don't like chiropractors myself. I have been to one myself many years ago when I lived in the UK. I had a bad riding accident and went to him to help relieve my pain, after seeing a doctor, neither of them had an x-ray done of my spine, which I found out later was fractured in 3 places. I guess I'm lucky I am still walking. Oh and he was french and rude, maybe that's just an English thing.

Today was almost in the 80's. I like these jeans because they are smart enough for the office. I titled this post Uh OH because my husband called me this afternoon one of the s***'s at his school keyed his car across the hood, down the passenger side and across the trunk. I am really upset because firstly I bought him that car for his graduation. I shelled out $14,000 cash, and secondly it's an Audi TT Quattro convertible in black. My husband is absolutely furious! He loves that car and takes care of it so well. God knows how much a total repaint job will cost. But if he ever finds out who has done it I don't know what will happen. Hopefully we can find out who did this, have that person charged and make his parents pay for the damage. Other than that today was OK. I have to go now I am off to the football game! If we don't win this he'll be in a REALLY bad mood!

UPDATE: We lost 49-0. I mean come on people!!

Today did not start off well. My alarm did not go off and I woke up at 9 am, hence the bad hair and the glasses. Then I forgot my lunch! On the up side my necklace arrived from EBAY the photo does not do it justice! My boss will be in hospital for a few more days. He sounds a little better than he did yesterday but he needs to rest and he is in the right place. He'll be fine. Hopefully he will be out of hospital by Tuesday or Wednesday. That's all for now!
